Climate adaptation dialogue: Berlin - Budapest

The object of the project is to provide advisory support to the administration of the IXth District of Budapest in the development of an exemplary and practice-oriented climate adaptation concept. In a first project phase, the local actors and the scientific partners will analyze the needs in two workshops in Budapest and Berlin. On this basis, the climate adaptation concept will be developed in the second project phase in close coordination with the administration of the IXth district. The procedure for the development of the climate adaptation concept as well as its content shall be groundbreaking for other districts of the city of Budapest as well as for other Hungarian cities. The third phase of the project therefore puts the focus on implementation and transfer of results by conferences, online and print media.
